Meet the Moos!

Winnie the Moo
Winnie the Moo is our sweet and timid heifer. She came to us from Knuckle Bump Farm in Florida. She started off very skittish, and it took a lot of work to earn her trust and respect. We tied her up and brushed her daily and sometimes twice a day to get her to know us and love us. Winnie now loves to come up for treats although she is usually last to the food dish. She has gotten to the point where she loves to come for treats and she will hold her own, but is just a sweet sweet soul. We hope she will be a mama sometime in the next year or two! Winnie turned 1 in June of 2023!

Everest
Everest is the leader of our fold! He is our bull and is definitely the one in charge. He comes to us from M Farms Florida in Sebring, Florida. Everest is very food motivated, and loves treats and loves to be brushed. Being a bull, he is so super sweet 90% of the time and 10% of the time he has a teenage attitude and wants his own way. We are incredibly excited to see what Everest will produce as offspring. He is 87% Highland and 13% Highpark. He has a unique color with some of his mother’s brindle color coming through and his adorable red ears, red feet and little brown nose. He is excited for you to visit so he can get more treats

Fozzie
Fozzie is our petting zoo mascot! If you need some fluffy cow snuggles, this is your guy! Fozzie also comes to us from M Farms Florida. He is our steer on the farm. With the smallest stature, he comes with the sweetest attitude. Fozzie is usually the first one out to get treats and pets. He is extremely social and curious! Fozzie has even been known to come pose for pictures even without treats to motivate him! He can get pushy when it comes to food, but he loves to be brushed, especially under the chin! Fozzie is our best guy to hang out with kids and babies that visit the farm. He and Winnie are best friends and you can usually see them hanging together in the pasture!

Mooana
Mooana is our newest addition to the Highland Heard. She came to join us in August 2023 from Blair Homestead in Kentucky. She is registered, so her babies will be able to be registered as well! Mooana was like a puppy the moment she walked off the trailer. She loves being brushed, rubbed and loved on. With crowds and visitors she is a little timid - she just hasn’t been here as long to realize how many treats you all bring! She and Everest have paired up and are normally together in the pasture. She fit right into our fold and may be the gentlest of our group. She is SO FLUFFY and has the BEST hair! Mooana loves to run and is usually the first one to the trough in the morning for feeding time!
